Ghost-Foster hero needed leg amputation's story
Ghost was brought in on January 15th with a broken femur. The owner knew this and had already had the x-rays done but decided they didn't want him. Now it's up to us to find his forever home! Sadly, Ghost will need his leg amputated. You'll be glad to know that his injury doesn't slow him down in the least. And dogs with three legs are some of the happiest, fun-loving dogs we've ever met! We know he'll bounce back from his surgery, but we want to find him a committed foster home or forever home before we take that step. Can you help?? At under a year old,
Ghost still has a lot of puppy energy, he is a sweet and affectionate young lad who has lots of love to give! Ghost will need to meet other dogs in the home before leaving as he is so happy to see other dogs that he can come off as "rude", children 7 & up would be best as Ghost loves kids but can be a bit much for the smaller kiddos.
